Do Dogs Poop in the Woods?

    
     I went on a walk in Girdwood today. I love Girdwood, it is one of the sweetest, hippiest little towns in Alaska. It is full of fun-loving people and their dogs. As I was walking, I could not help but notice tons of little bags of dog poop. SERIOUSLY?? Why take the time to pack up the poop and then hide it under a tree in a plastic bag? Why not just let the dog poop in the woods? Poop disappears a lot faster than a plastic bag filled with poop.
